I've had vast and varied mechanical experiences over my 66 years. Started with small engines, mowers mostly. Engineman class A school in USCG including gasoline, diesel, gas turbines. While my career took me away from mechanics after the service, I've always kept my hand in it, fixing friends equipment and mine as well. My personal vehicles NEVER go to the shop or dealer. I enjoy "winning", finding and fixing the problem. Retired now so I have time to really enjoy it.

I see this forum as a wealth of knowledge and experience to tap, saving my time researching and experimenting.
