Replaced the 4300 with a new 4520.
Loved the 4300 with a few exceptions, just got a much larger place and needed more HP and more lift. Wife kept asking for projects that needed .* and she sold herself on us needing the larger tractor and new attachments:
448 backhoe, 4-in-1 bucket, pallet forks, self leveling loader, rear hydraulics. The rear hydraulics are neat! flip the switch and the joystick runs the cylinders on the big rankin rear blade. Most of the time to put on or remove the backhoe is the draft arms and links on the 3 point. The actual mount / dismount takes about two minutes.

Cidertom,

Are you running the 4 in 1 off of the 3rd scv in the rear?

"sort of"
The 3rd scv kit brings out the connections to the rear, but it has a semi permanent hose to the bulkhead where the rest of the FEL connections are. I could use the 3rd scv at the rear by disconnecting the hoses. Attached is a pix of the rear connections: the power beyond, the 4 for the dual control and the 2 for the 3rd valve. What I thought intresting is the 3rd scv is already there with the factory scv valve, the kit is just piping, mounts and the lever.

Cidertom,
Which control handle are you using for the 4 in 1. Is it the SCV lever or are you switching the diverter and using the loader handle?

Ooooh. Now I'm even more excited! The dealer should be delivering my almost identical rig tomorrow or Friday.

I didn't get the pallet fork, or the diverter as my rear blade doesn't have hydraulic positioning, but I will probably add a tilt cylinder (without the top) at some point.

I will run the 4in1 from the 3rd SCV, and I did have them put the factory plumbing down the loader arm.

Can't wait! Grrrrr. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Have fun with your new toy! Clearly, you have excellent taste in tractors! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

using the 3rd scv. I'm thinking of adding a solenoid valve and adding a thumb control for the 4 in 1. I know WRLong has them and the JD 110 tlb has them so it shouldn't be that hard. So far I haven't been trying to grab and move at the same time. A lot of the 4 in 1 use is going to be reclaiming old pasture by yanking out bushes.
