Hey JinmaLover,

Man, you got yourself a really nice tractor.

You got more switches in your dash than on mine!

What do the switches do, and what functions are the handles by the steering wheel?

These Chinese Tractors keep getting better and better in quality. There's no stopping the Chinese Tractors now.

Congratulations, you have a real jewel there. I really like that color too.

Have a nice day,

If you are refering to the black spin-on cartridge running to the hydraulic pump? I would guess that is a strainer and not a filter since it is on the suction side of the pump. Hydraulic filters typically filter down to around 10 micron or less and would be too restrictive on the suction side of a hydraulic pump. A hydraulic strainer usually consists of #100 wire mesh and filters down to around 149 micron. A #100 mesh strainer is usually what is found on the suction side of hydraulic systems. The usual jinma filter is a brass screen found inside the hydraulic resovoir.

You might give northern hydraulics a call. They sell a "Buyers" brand spin-on hydraulic strainer. Here is a link to the strainer and base assembly. They also sell just the spin-on element by itself.

You will have to find out the thread size/thread pitch and the diameter of the sealing surface of your spin-on cartridge. Northern's customer service should be able to give you the specific dimensions of their element.

You may also be able to backflush the one you already have with kerosene to clean any debris off the screen and re-use it.

jinma224xr thanks for the compliment i got more than what i was expecting. it really impressed me, i am used to using kubota's an M9000 and a L4330 gst. couple of more years of refinment and they will be on par with kubota, what really got me was the size of the tractor, the pictures on the internet really don't do it justice. from left to right the switches are, turn signals, head light, tail and dash lights, empty space for extra switch, work light, horn, hazard lights. the sticks by the steering wheel are the shuttle shift and throttle

ronmar i thought about flushing it and thank you for the link

ranch hand the numbers on the filter are jx0811A ( i think those are right, the numbers where turned to the starter and i had lay on the ground to even see them) i really do hope that you can cross it for me

jinmalover,

JX0811A = Baldwin BT839 ..... around 33 micron

= Baldwin BT8420 ..... aound 140 micron

Tractor looks good

Hey JinmaLover,

You can get OE Filters from JinmaParts.com.

You may come out fine using a crossover filter, but you have a very fine machine, and why take any chances?

The money saved using a crossover filter may be negated, by the fuel cost consumed in hunting down a filter that will even fit, but you may never know, if the filtering capacity and/or specifications are the same, as the OE Filter.

Have a nice day,
