New Tractor arrived today, Back for repair tomorrow!

Today, IMO, having a good, honest and fair dealer to work with is actually more important than the lowest price! I bought my tractor from a NH dealer that gave me the best price and first class service!(very lucky) Maybe some on this site will disagree with me, but quality control on a lot of tractors today seems to be lacking. Unfortunately, my favorite dealer has now dropped New Holland due to issues with the "quality" of the new tractors. I am very happy with the quality of my 2004 TN and its the 3rd new NH tractor I've owned over the last 30 years. All have been trouble free and quality tractors. Buyers make sure you buy from a dealer that will give you good service! Tractors today are much more complicated than the ones in our past and built where ever the companies can get them built the cheapest!

Have been running a T1110 since 2008 and have had no issues. I have been digging, hauling, tilling, raking gravel, leveling with a blade, blowing snow, mowing with both a bush cutter and a finish and a posthole auger. I have 200 hrs and have nothing other than normal maintenance. Every time I try something new I wonder if the tractor will do the j

Sorry fat thumbs! The machine has delivered every time. I have not owned anything else so have nothing to compare it to. I am happy with mine.

jay, sometimes Lawyers need to get involved. What a nasty way to get something, that should have not been a problem , in the 1st place done.
Where as the noise you heard , could have been a wrist pin, its still a new tractor and should not have been there.
Wrist pin are not usually damaging to an engine, but there are exceptions. I would not want my "new" tractor" to have this condition.

How did you make out with the repairs? I just had a bolt that holds the front drive shaft nucle to the shaft break. Good news part was only $3.60. Back in oreration.:thumbsup:
