I'm really torn between cab or no cab. I live in the mid atlantic so we have hot summers and cold winters, so the cab would be great for that. Also quieter operation...

No doubt cabs have their place and advantages but in my experience the cab amplifies noises making it noticeably louder inside, enough that I'd probably wear hearing protection. The cab version seemed a little more cumbersome getting on and off the tractor. I also foresaw it being a hinderance getting under trees and it wouldn't even fit under a standard garage door. This was when comparing and demoing B2650 ROPS and cab versions. Just some things to consider.

Thats true of aftermarket cabs, but the newer factory ones are very quiet.

Having sat in the B3350 can a few weeks ago, I was very impressed with how tight it was. I haven’t had the opportunity to check out Kioti though.
What are you basing your prices off of? Actual dealer quotes, or MSRP? I’ve found that pricing changes a lot depending on the dealer.
I know they posted in this thread, but have you gotten a quote from messicks? I was shopping for an M62 last year and found them to be very reasonable in comparison to a lot of New England dealers I checked with.

The B2650 cab version I demoed was factory. One little thing I notice is the floor deck moves a little when using the step to get on the ROPS tractor where as it didn't on the cab version. Must be braced better with the cab.

Where exactly in slower lower are you? I bought a B2650 from Burke Equipment. I will agree with others that Kioti is a better value, however I feel that Kubota is more refined, better fit and finish. Between the two you are looking at and what you want to do get the Kioti. As for cabs I don't like them, and I will agree they are loud in Dad's 12 DK40 and the old Case 580.

The open station tractor's floor is floating on rubber mounts (same for most Kubota open station tractors). This is done to isolate the floor from vibration/etc. So you'll notice it move/twist a little when stepping on. In the case of the cab, I believe the floor is part of the cab structure and the whole thing is a rigid unit that's isolated.

Thank you all for your feedback. Its much appreciated.

I went to Burke Equipment yesterday actually. I wanted to drive the B2650 but they only had one and it was in the shop getting a loader hooked up. I did get to sit on it and check it out, but no test drive. After that I went and took a second spin in the ck3510se cab. The thing drives really nice.

I've got some math to do to see what in my budget can handle. I'm hoping to put a deal together for a 3rd valve for a grapple, and a rotary cutter.

Today I'm going to take a good walk around my property and look for cab clearance. I thought the cab was pretty quiet on the kioti... certainly quiet enough to not need hearing protection.

Prices off of local dealer quotes. Yeah the quotes I got online from kubota were a little differant than the dealer quotes. I have not gotten a price from Messicks, although I've watched a lot of their videos. Their probably too far away for me.

One other thing of note, Kubota has an excellent insurance program. For about $1 per 1000 of the tractor cost/month you get complete coverage on our off your property. $250 deductable.

Kioti has something similar but I dont have the specifics yet, my impression was it doesnt cover everything Kubotas does.

Anybody have any experience with either of their insurance coverage?

are you trying to get an electric diverter to use a 3rd off the FEL or are you going to use a rear remote and just run the lines to the FEL?
