New Tractor Owner! But you won\'t believe this!
As you probably have already read I was in a quandry about going with the TC24 or TC30 NH. Finally after reading way too much info about compact tractors in general said hey whats wrong with the chinese jobs? My husband of course was still stuck on the kioti's. Finally I just decided to go and drive them and see which one I liked the best.
Tried the dealer in Orange, Va yesterday but they only had the TC30 in stock not the TC24 to try side by side, went to the dealer in Fredericksburg today and they had both but the TC24 in hydro. So my husband took me to the dealer in Culpeper which is probaby the closest to us here in Locust Grove, they had the TC30 but nothing lower than the 29 and the prices were out of range. I told the salesman I was a bargin hunter and he said "well if you want the best deal on the lot its this TC40" That tractor is HUGE much more than what I need, but then he told me the price, and then I drove it and I know your figuring out what happened, they are delivering it monday! This was a leased unit that only has 106hrs on it and was just driven through a orchard hauling a wagon. It is in perfect condition. So tell me Am I going to totally regret this buy? I mean I felt comfortable driving it but am sure it is probably too big to get into a barn and do much with. No hydro, but I am sure I will get used to the shuttle shift. So any imput would be great! Of course my husband is excited, He got the big one! I hope this doesn't mean he is going to try to steal it from me after I did all this leg work that being said there was no legwork done on a TC40 I know absolutely nothing about them.
