I was hoping someone could help me with some problems. I just bought a used Zen Noh L1500D. I have never owned a tractor before and don't know much about them. I was trying to refuel it with diesel and noticed a plastic sleeve in the fuel tank. Do I add oil to the diesel fuel before refueling like a weedeater? Also, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a manual for this tractor? The guy I bought it from did'nt have any of the owners manuals or paperwork. I sure would appreciate any help. On the fuel, please don't add any oil to it. Well, unless you want to fog for skeeters! I don't have a clue what a plastic sleeve in the fuel tank means. Can you post any pictures? With a pic, I'll bet someone here will be able to tell you exactly what is going on.

! I would add nothing to your diesel fuel except fuel stabilizer that is formulated for diesel fuel for long term storage purposes. There have been quite a few posts and threads regarding diesel fuel additives for water and "gunk" removal in the Oil. Fuel, and Lubricants Forum. Jay

only a guess, but the sleeve may be a filter screen. Welcome to TBN- lots of good information here!

It's a filter to catch the big stuff. Leave it in there it really works.

The other posters are correct. My old Ford 1100 had a filter screen sleeve. They do work. Jay

Welcome, I'm new here also and the folks here are great.
If you are new to tractors, I have to suggest you learn tractor safety. They are like nothing else you have driven. Tractor safety will be the most important thing you learn. JMHO.
