New Tractor prices, how fast have things escalated?

A lot of people are retiring or just leaving the rat race. Getting away from cities and tyrannical blue states. Lots and land in the country around me are selling constantly. I'm amazed at all the places that have sold and are being built on.

These people need/want tractors and have money. I don't see a downturn anytime soon.

You are an extremely perceptive man. This is going on in my area and has driven small from prices up by almost 50%. My wife and I are priced out of the market forever as more & more coastal elites settle on farms in my area.
One actually good thing about it is they have NO CLUE how to grow a flower much less how to farm, so I can get business from them.

Same here. Property and home prices here have more than doubled since 2018. The traffic on the interstate seems backed up constantly. Bad wrecks are more common. A farm down the road this summer was broken up into several 4-8 acre parcels and auctioned off in day. I delivered firewood to a huge development 12 miles away that I didn't even know was there. If it's not houses on land, it's developments. Something big is going on in Lenoir City at the corner of hwy 321 and 70. They cleared it fast. Living here has its perks but unfortunately, others found out about it. We're going to have to fight to keep our culture in the days ahead. Only saving grace is some of the newcomers embrace our way of life. My new neighbor from Commifornia had me nervous at first but they turned out good so far. He's buying guns, has a piece on his hip, planted a garden, got chickens, been hunting. His kids are allowed to play in my woods and do. I see his boy in the woods with his BB gun. Very polite boy. It warms my heart. I was out there dropping broken hung up pine trees last night so it was safer back there.
It's going to be interesting days ahead.

Seems like a few of the good ones who are trying to countrify become customers when they get in over there heads.

Same thing here - although in the Western US that changes to "getting away from cities and tyrannical red AND blue states". But everything else is the same here as you describe.

I bought my first Kubota L60 series in 2018 and got 15% off MSRP. Three months ago on my second Kubota I only got 10% off. GM said he didn’t have the inventory to sell and the 5% difference was to help him keep the lights on and cover his overhead. The tractors he did have weren’t moving well because FEL weren’t available. FEL back ordered up to a year.
