After about 8 years of use my old seat on my 2305 was getting pretty worn & torn. I even tried taping it with yellow duct tape, but it looked even trashier. For last Christmas I had gotten my father a new seat for his practically brand new 1023r and it looked amazing with the new seat. He loved it. So I finally bit the bullet and purchased a seat upgrade of my own. The new seat comes from the 500x? lawn mower series and takes a little fiddling to get into place properly, but the back is nice and high, the seat has some lumbar support (love that feature) and best of all, an armrest kit can be added. Previously I was always looking for places to put my elbows and this seat feels very natural. You do sit a bit higher, but not to any extreme. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

P.S. I am curious how other seats are holding up. For most of its time, the tractor was parked outside, a major contribution to its wear & tear. Now it has a permanent parking space in the 3rd stall of our garage.
