New Tractor Smoke On Start Up

Just got a little Cub Cadet CLT 160, which I think is a good little machine. However, I've only started it about 5 times, and it is puffing black smoke each time I start it.

It has a 16hp "cadet engine" which is a Tecumseh.

I'm not sure if I should worry about this or not.

Any opinions?

Black smoke is rich mixture when choke is first used. Normal.

The owner' manual on my Deere says the engine may smoke until it gets broken in.
