New Tractor update

2 weeks ago tonight my 3301 tractor was delivered and since then I have put almost 25 hours on it. Overall I am happy with it. I got a set of forks and a box blade with it plus the loader. I choose the gear model and R 4 tires which on the tires I am not real happy with but I can live with it. The tractor has a lot of power and is a pleasure to operate since I got the seat adjusted right. I box bladed a 1/2 long trail I have in my woods today and was very impressed with the box blade. I only have a couple mores miles to do. On the tires if anyone works in soft ground go with the R 1 tires as the R 4 does not have the traction. But overall I would give it a rating of a 10 out of 1-10. I should have bought one earlier. It did create another job for me. I now have to sandblast and paint my snowblower as I cannot put anything with rust on a new tractor and it is even a Kubota also Ivan

Maybe try adding weight before changing tires? I'm sure your rears are loaded but might not be enough.

I haven't seen any mention in the OP's threads that he got the tires loaded. Also haven't seen any pics of this new tractor yet.

You'll like the tires a little bit better when you drive over your lawn... Yea, they suck in soft or wet area but they don't rut up like R1's. I don't like my R4's, if I were to do it again... I think I would try Turf with chains.

Congrats!!! I have an L3901 and have been very happy with it. Went with the loaded R1s, but I contemplated getting the R4s.

you may want to put ice chains in the rears. Low cost sollution if not traveling at high speeds or asphalt.

...not that easy since he has R4 tires on an L series tractor. There is not enough clearance for the chains without having to buy wheel spacers... L series R4's are not adjustable
