New used tractor - LX178

Just bought a John Deere Lx178 off epay and picked it up yeaterday. Know nothing of these and it's still in the bed of my pickup. Looked for owners and shop manuals for these. I thought stuff for Harleys was outrageous! Another bend over grab your ankles moment! Anybody know if there's any reasonble reproductions? Thanks, Slapz

:welcome: to TBN! As far as manuals go, I doubt there is an aftermarket one out there. The owners manual should be the easiest to understand, the shop manual should give you the exploded view of each part of the LX178 and where it goes. When I had my Yanmar tractor the shop manual was invaluable in the search for parts. :thumbsup:
