I am a woman and live in the southeast corner of Alabama. I own a Cub Cadet RZT and love it...most of the time. I am learning to do my own maintenance and repair a little at a time. I have just over 2 acres and I am currently trying to tame it. My goal is to have a nice garden area and other areas for relaxing or entertaining. One step at a time.
I joined this forum, hoping to be able to learn skills to become more self reliant to maintain my mower and maybe discover attachments that will make my life easier.

To the forum Deb from Northwest Alabama. Does your Cub Cadet have a place to attach items like a trailer, etc.? On my Craftsman 21hp V-twin Pro garden tractor I added a dump trailer, 4' powered tiller and several smaller items. I have even towed logs with it before I got a bigger tractor. I still mow with it and have done all my own maintenance. Even rebuilt my mower deck and replaced the PTO. If you have a few tools you can keep it in good working order.
