Someone on here mentioned the fact that most of the hardware that coms with the PEC is not really needed. I found this to be true. I dont have the "u" bolts on nor do I have the adjustors on any longer. 1 carter key, knock out the large "axle" and it comes off, easy on too!

found that it makes it easier to get stuff hooked up, and it will now move around more so I dont have too

The hardware that holds the U-bolt down vibrated loose while using my blade... I decided to keep the U-bolts on and just used locking hardware (nylon lock nut) that I bought at a hardware store for a couple of bucks.

If I lose that hardware over time then maybe I take your advice and just drop the U-bolt... time will tell.
