I see Yanmar are being sold in the US again under the Yanmar/Cubcadet Label. Very comparable in price, in fact cheaper than Kubota with far better warranty.

I own an EX3200 and have been happy with it. Only wish I could get one with a premium cab.

Yes. They have been selling them for a few years now

But, thats no more yanmar than a John deere is right, they have been making the JD compact and scut trator engines for more than like 30 years right.

They do sell new yanmars in this country now i beleive. But i think its limited to one or two models of crawler tractors aimed at the vinyard market in California.

The Cub Cadet Yanmars are manufactured 100% by Yanmar, distributed by joint venture with Cub. Yanmar also sells their construction equipment here, but through a separate distribution channel.

yep we see newwies sold here too. the excavators are very popular here in the 5 ton and lower range. dont see to many tractors about though, one of the contractors doing some work at our new property has a yanmar 3 tonner and raves about it. he said if he was a bit younger he would buy another new yannie excavator but said he will run this one till he carks it or the excavator does:laughing: i tried my hardest to get him to buy a new one so i could get his old one cheap! :D

Ohh i did not realize that. I was thinking it was just engines. Why dont they make this more clear in the Ads? Maybe its just im not in the market for a new one?

carks it or the excavator does:

"Carks" is this a typo or one of those aussie terms i dont know?

I bet one reason is that most people wouldn't recognize the name "Yanmar." I think brand identification is one of those things that marketing folks get excited about. In Japan of course, Yanmar is well known. I happened to watch a funny YouTube video of one of Japan's professional soccer teams playing 100 kids. The interesting bit is that the pro soccer players had YANMAR prominently displayed on the back of their shirts. They must be their biggest sponsor.

Judging by Yanmar USA site, it looks like they have bought out Cub Cadet to use as their brand, probably later they will drop the Cub Cadet brand name and just use their own. If you check out their site, the tractors have Cub Cadet/Yanmar on them. There's a range of CUTS and mid sized tractors all Yanmar made...
There's some specials I found tandem trailer, box blade 5ft bush hog FEL all for a great price, there was also one with loader and backhoe all cheaper than Kubotas.

I love Yanmar products. IMHO, they are some of the best made anywhere for any price. Being 100% made by Yanmar would, however, be the only possible way I'd ever buy anything with the Cub Cadet name on it. From mowers I've worked on for friends, I've not seen any worse quality product than Cub Cadet. If it were made by Cub Cadet's normal channel of manufacturing, I'd buy a goat first. If it's made by Yanmar, I could put up with the "this means junk" Cub Cadet colors unless Cub has totally screwed up the parts and service aspect.
