I talked to a Cub Cadet regional rep and he mirrored that info. One less decal! Also steered me to a Yanmar dealer.

This is great Yanmar news. Early buyers will likely get a good price as the brand gets established. Count me in.
The only issue is my preference for the red and cream colors.
The Cadet color scheme is still too painful considering the MTD link.

My bet is there is some agreement deep in the bowls of Yanmar and Cub Cadet that they can go to red/white color scheme after XX amount of years to help dealers with transition.

From the looks of it these tractors were intended to be CCY tractors but instead Yanmar hurriedly threw on some yanmar decals instead. My guess is they will sell out the Yellow & black tractors and transition over to Red/white.

Very interesting thread here. My question would be the expected msrp compared to the other players.
One poster said they were cheaper then JD back in the 70s and 80s, and one said they were more expensive.
It would be great to catch an early deal.

Cub definitely had some issues with some of their pre-2007 machines.....but when they started with Yanmar in 08 the machines have been spot on....and they changed colors. Obviously Yanmar brought something to the table with them. I recently looked over a LX450 and LX490, and they are definitely nice machines.
And...I also think there will be some deals to be had.....I'm working on one right now!
Looking forward to getting one of the last CCY's.......only a 4 year production, they'll be collector's items someday!

Don't like the new site ... what happen to the pictures?? Can,t see any details. I did not download the PDF maybe more info there. They look nice and expensive.
