I just bought in CT
I just purchased a 2910 with loader and backhoe from my Connecticut dealer. He is a regular guy and was very knowledgable and straightforward about everything.
"I'm like most I suspect, if someone makes me a good deal, I take PLEASURE in the transaction and take PLEASURE in passing my experience along to others who might also be potential PLEASURE seekers at new tractor time"
It was a pleasure talking with Bob so I`m passing along my experience (as it should be). The name of the dealership (smaller but efficent operation) Woodbury Tractor Co. 1514 Main St. North in Woodbury CT. His Phone number (203)266-4845. Bob Wolff. I was originally considering the 2710 and I think he quoted my about $16,500 or $16,200 with the loader. (sorry can`t read my intial chickenscratch writing /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif). I can double check that if you want I will be talking to him about my incoming 2910 in the next few days. I had some less than pleasant encounters with other dealers some seemed that they were doing me a favor. I had to pursue them they could never get around to calling back and it was a bigger dealership.
I also shopped out of state (carver) and he gave me a good price and replied in a timely fashion. I didnt buy from Steve because woodbury is practically my backyard and they gave me a similar price without even seeing another quote.(My dad lives in NC and I sent him to Steve Carvers) I feel like I`m a commerical for woodbury tractor /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. But like I said before isnt that the way it should be? Before there was TV; businesses relied on reputation and word of mouth (first and best commerical). Ok the soapbox is free. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
