New Z-Force 50

I bought a Z force 60" which has even more grease fittings than the 50" I'm also extremely pleased with the unit and the price was right at TSC....$4300.00 out the door and in the pickup truck.

I cut my mowing time by 2/3rds and the 60" is way more economical on gas than my old 48" riding lawn tractor.

I've heard some negative things about MTD and Cub Cadet, but comparing the Z Force to my Kubota's, it's built as well as they are so I expect "0" problems.

I see that the oil filter for the Kawasaki is $15.00. That's pretty high as is the air filter. I also am curious as to where one gets the filters for the Hydro-Gear Pumps?

You think filters are bad, get a carb kit for a Kohler. Kohler has a weird sense of humor when it comes to profit margins.

6 O-rings, 4 screws, a spring and a low-speed needle.

$50.

I kid you not.

The greedy #$%%#$'s didn't even include a base or air-cleaner gasket.

Looks like there are two different hydro's used on the Z-force. There is a 48" deck on one that is also heavier. Perhaps someone can give more info on the differences.

I believe there are actually 3 different drive units, however, all are made by Hydro-Gear.
The RZT 42" and 50" 0 turn residential riders use the HydroGear EZT pumps (2)
The ZForce 44 and 50 use the HydroGear IZT pumps (2)
The ZForce 60" uses the HydroGear ZT2800 dual pumps

I wasn't aware that the Cub came with a 48" deck in a zero turn

I saw the Cub with the 48" deck after I bought my Z-Force 50. It had the nicer deck, but a smaller HP engine.

I believe it was about $5,000.00. Looked like a nice "stout" ZTR.
