New ZD21 Pro Maintenance Issues

I am going to be taking delivery of a new ZD21 shortly, I need some advice on motor oil. Do most of you use Kubota oil and filters? I was planing on using 15W40 Rotella like I use in my Powerstroke pickup engine. As for filters I was going to use Kubota filters in case of a engine problem but I think filters like NAPA gold are as good. Does the ZD have the same fluid capacities for the engine and hydraulics as tractors such as the BX2200? Any advice is appreciated

The Shell Rotella 15W40 will be a good choice. I personally use Kubota's filters. My 3130 oil filter is around $7.00 I believe. It will take between 4-6qts..

Thanks for the information, does anyone know the capacity of the hydraulic system on these units? How much super UDT will it take for a complete change?

I don't think Kubota knows the capacities of any of their equipment. If you have a HST be prepared for a lot of oil to be drained.
I tried figuring the refill rates using the metrics and all that good stuff and I finally gave up because the HST and the engine oil pan take more than they say. I just use the dip sticks a lot and keep adding until I am full. I do run the engine for a few minutes after getting most of the fluids in...makes sure that the filters are full.
