OK guys, showing my newness, but what is a chalkey cup???
Read list of suggested add-ons, anticipating a cupholder for father's day but didn't know if that was some kind of red-neck beer your supposed to drink when you sit around talkin' about tractors or a cup used for chew. I like old milwaukee myself, anyone else? Supposed to take delivery Tuesday, cupholder install on Wednesday. For what I overspent on the 2710, probably could have bought a lifetime supply of Old Mil. I enjoy the comic relief some of your posts give me..thanks. Anyone else got a similar setup, 2710, 5ft fel,Woods 7' hoe, cupholder...

Here is the thread on the orginal cup http://www.tractorbynet.com/cgi-bin/compact/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=implement&Number=13367&page=&view=&sb=&vc=1

Here is a picture of the cup at the magnet website http://www.fieldlines.com/other/chalkley.html The picture of the guy on the tractor is Harv.

Hope this steers you in the right direction. Those magnets really are awsome!!!

So how much old milwaukee is in the delivery if it's not a life time supply? /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

and how come you titled this thread "new2710"?

thanks Gordon for the info, i'll have to put a piece of that magnet on the fender for the ole milwaukee can, just kidding, i'll stick with coffee. Glue guy, my milwaukee money is now going to go to diesel fuel instead, i'm sure i'll get a few cases of old mil for some odd jobs done for the relatives anyway. By the way, I saw some nice looking 7500s with hoes while I was checking on my 2710 yesterday. Some had Woods 6500, one had the Kubota hoe. I ordered a toothbar, but it won't be in on time for Tuesday's delivery. Guess I'll get to drill holes in my new machine. Gotta go paint, see you later...

I don't think a B2710 will run if there's any of that stuff around./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I can drink almost any kind of beer except that and Corona. I don't know what Schlitz puts in their beer, but my innards can't handle their products. I think the guy who came up with that Schlitz name had a lisp; that wasn't the way he intended to pronounce it./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Where I grew up in Illinois, we used to go on picnics on the Illinois River S/W of Peoria. One of the spots we frequented had a Schlitz brewery on the opposite side of the river. One of the things that impressed me with that part of the river was the way it turned a white stripe on my swimming trunks brown. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

I remember looking at my (used to be white) swim trunks, then look across the river at the Schlitz water intakes, then back at my trunks. Hmmmmmm....

I've never drunk Schlitz.

By definition doesn't an "intake" take in water?? Could perhaps suggest that it wasn't Schlitz that turned your white trunks brown!! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

That's exactly right. Intakes. So whatever was turning my shorts brown was also going into making Schlitz. I never wanted to learn how much they did (or didn't) filter their water....

Personally, my favorite beer is Anchor Steam, but I am also partial to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Red Tail Ale, and Sam Adams Boston Ale.

Hmmm....wonder what was upstream??? /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif Our river that runs through Edmonton has just been deemed safe to swim and play in by the public health authorities....with the bacterial coliform count way down to within an acceptable range. Still think swimming in it would do more than make my trunks brown!!! /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

wonder what was upstream???

I always wondered about that too. All the way upstream was Chicago, all the way downstream was the Mississippi. Lot's of town and burgs along the way. Bet everyone dumped "something" somewhere. Convinced me that rivers, in general, are not a good source of clean water...
