GlueGuy, I've never even heard of any of your favorites./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Anchor Steam started out as a specialty beer in San Francisco, so named because of the special steam process they developed to brew it in the chilly San Francisco climate. I "think" it's getting wider distribution these days, & thought it was available all over the country.

The Sierra Nevada and Red Tail are probably only available in California (and the Red Tail maybe only the S.F. Bay area).

I thought Sam Adams was available averywhere.

This thread is digressing (no thanks to me /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. Perhaps we oughta talk about beers elsewhere. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Sorry, didn't mean to get away from tractor talk. I am kinda excited about gettin' my 2710. I guess once I get it, I'll have to post on the Kubota owning page. I'll try to keep any "beer" topics on the appropriate post. Still waiting to hear from any 2710 owners with same set up...Thanks, see ya JW

P12JW, I have a '99 B2710, but not quite the same set-up; no backhoe, 54" bucket on the LA410 loader, and a number of implements. I have 290 hours on mine; very nice little tractor.

I'm like Bird on this one, I have a B2710 with 60" bucket on LA401 loader. No backhoe, but lots of other toys for the back end. I just got mine used and have put 50 hrs. on it since getting it in April. It is one heck of a tractor, this being my fifth one and my favorite. I think its a keeper for sure!

OK, now we're talking beer... not hair rinse! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Dave (homebrewer and 2710 owner)

PS- All the brews you mentioned are available in NY. Much credit for the rebirth of craft brewing in the US has to be given to Fritz Maytag, owner of Anchor Brewing Co. "Steam beer" is a uniquely american beer style created in CA in the mid 1800's before refrigeration was widely available. Anchor was the last of these breweries to make "steam beer" when Fritz bought them and rescued the style... shortly before they were destined to close in the mid 60's. It's essentially a lager beer fermented at ale temperatures. Quite yummy!

Sorry... now back to tractors where I still have LOTS to learn!

So much for my Tuesday delivery. Sales called today and told me they didn't realize I wanted a 5ft fel. They just noticed it in the file, (not to mentioned that I was very clear about this from the beginning, 6/4). So now someone can get a good deal on a 54" fel with hook while I wait for my 5ft. Has to be retrieved from another location, possibly two days, maybe more. Guess I'll throw my chaulkey cup on my simplicity and pretend it's my 2710 for a few days. I wonder if they would have bothered calling me about this if I hadn't called today to check ifeverything was OK for delivery. I believe in attention to detail. Why am I getting a bad feeling about this place already. Ive gotten a shorter fuse over the years, but I'm still gonna' wait and see...maybe I'll get an extra hat for the trouble. At least the salesman was polite about their mistake. Maybe I'll just sit in the A/C tommorow and COOL down... just venting, thanks, I feel better already...guess I'm lucky enough to be getting one in the first place.

When I ordered my B7500, it had a promised delivery date of about two weeks.

After two weeks, nothing. Dealer kept trying to find out the status.

Found out after the third week that it was on a truck "somewhere". Finally got it
after about five weeks.

Dealer had given me a loaner during the whole period, so it wasn't a big deal.

Just had to be patient though.
