I still do not comprehend what you plan to do with fifteen clear acres when the Manzanita is removed.

I've cut/cleared a lot of manzanita with my L3400. I used chainsaw to get to exposed stump, leaving at least 18" stump for push/pull leverage with FEL. Hard on equipment, and way too much manual labor. New L47 TLB with grapple and backhoe makes it more fun. Stack in manageable piles for chipping, rent a chipper w/ hydraulic feed, or stack/compress pile and burn in the winter months.

Logging/road maintenance/small scale farming/general land maintenance. It will probably take me several years to harvest this lumber. Several years from now i cant foresee what i'll be doing.

From youtube videos it looks like a grapple would rip the manzanita out. Would be nice to be able to move them into piles. Looks like it would work for moving timber. I'll be looking at a larger tractor...doesnt look like the L3301 would be able to handle moving timber around.

Ratchet Rake is an A-1 tool at piling debris. Down oriented row of 1-1/2" teeth combined with curl provide just enough grab. FEL articulation in two planes makes debris piling a snap.

You can order any size Ratchet Rake from the T-B-N store, button a the top of this page. Freight is offset by no sales tax. TSC sells the Ratchet Rake too, but TSC is hit-or-miss on Ratchet Rake inventory and you have sales tax.

Here is info on firewood on pallets: Google

Most standard pallets are 48" x 40"

See it dont matter if you stack them 2 rows 48" long and 40 high or vice versa, it comes out th 35.5 cu ft. Which is just a shade more than 1/4 of a cord @ .27 cord.

Since an average cord of hardwood is in the 3200-3600lb per cord range DRY and 4500-5500lb range GREEN, you are looking at:

~860-970lbs DRY and ~1200-1500lbs GREEN. ((Plus weight of the pallet))

Not sure what your tractor can lift, but I agree that clamp-on forks will hinder you alot. So I say...try it. If you have to take some wood off, do it.

And its funny you mentioned no oak So that begs the question...what exctally are you cutting?? Cause, (depending on what oak species) there are several wood types that are HEAVIER than oak. Osage orange?? Hickory??
