New Holland Model 1920
Hello I have a 1999 Model 1920 New Holland and It will not start and has no dash lights. Tested battery have 12.56 volts there went down to starter have same voltage at the lug there and at the ignition switch. Trun key and get nothing on any of the other lug on the switch and nothing from the starter. Theres a Black wire with red stripe going from the starter to a I think its a relay then up to the switch. I looked on the other web sites at parts and it showes a Safety Start relay but its on the other side if the engine compartment. On the relay? it has 4 prongs 2 say coil and 1 says com and the other says on no part # on it. Just want to know if you think it may be that? is there any way to jump the saftey switch by the shift handle? Any ideas about what to check and how to do it Please.

Thanks Kevin

First off, welcome.

Second, when was the last time the tractor was started? Has it been sitting a while?

Thanks for the welcomes. The tractor was running fine about a week ago Did some tilling with it and everything was fine. took starter off today and checked it it worked as it should tryed to find that relay I was talking about but no luck local. How can I test it to see if its working? I was having a little trouble from the safety start switch I had to wiggle the shift handle a little and it started then no more trouble till now?
