Hi:

Tripped over the keyboard and posted before I was done. Next message is what I wanted to say.

Hi:

I don't do pictures very often, just not something that interests me. Plus. I am on REALLY SLOW rural dial up.

If I did have a picture of me in action, it might have caught my look of horror as a 100+ pound rock rolled into the BH stabilizer cylinder. Just lost some paint this time. After two hours of playing, I now have the foggiest idea of how to use the BH.

Gotta find somewhere flat to take the BH off and try out the box blade. I am thinking maybe I should pour a pad to park it on. I already have the aggregate here from another project last year, and my buddy's mixer is still here ...

I just have a flat area of aggregate that I put my BH on. Back up to the spot, prep some wood blocks about where you want things to go. Put the stabilizers down on some blocks, pull the pins that hold the BH in place, pull forward, using controls set BH down on blocks. The closer the blocks are to where you need them.. the easier it will be to put back on. Disconnect hydraulic lines and drive way... careful of any filters you have underneath. If I am not careful.. I will hit my HST filter with the BH frame.

Motorseven, I hate you!

Nice tractor, I didn't think of ordering a extra deep bucket. Good idea! Don't see a down side..

RCR- I have a larger bucket on my CK30... more than once I have filled it to the point that it would not lift it!! Then again.. the DK has much more lift reserve than the CK does. Mine is also hampered by the SS QA.

Yeah, my ck30 isn't real strong on the bucket in the first place. And I just now read the loader fix weighs 60lbs. I really would like a dk40se..

My tractor was delivered with Rev 1 loader fix in place.. I doubt it adds 60lbs. But when you add the larger bucket which weighs more, with SS QA adaptor plate welded on, the SS QA on the arms, and the fact that having SS QA pushes the bucket further forward.. it adds up to reduced lifting capacity. I need to lift some steel trusses about 14ft up, they weigh about 450lbs. I am hoping my loader with a boom pole will be able to do it. Other wise, the nearest rental place that has the equipment to do it is over an hr away. :(
