I have a trailer hitch ball on the draw bar I got with my tractor. The draw bar rotates between the lift arms, so I have to turn it to get the ball upright to hook up a trailer. I saw something like a swinging draw bar link that attaches to the center position on the back of the tractor, which would stop the draw bar from rotating, but would I still be able to raise & lower the draw bar with the lift arms?

If you do a search in the "Build it yourself" forum you will find many variations of 3PH trailer movers that are practical and inexpensive add ons for your tractor. Some have places for carrying chains, toolboxes and most are designed to use the 2" square receiver mounting system so you can quickly change out the ball mounts. All that I have seen will raise and lower with the hitch which is the whole point in using it to start with.
