My understanding is that since most of what I would do is earthwork the L3901 would not benefit me over the L3301 unless I mow/bush hog a bunch or operate a large PTO-powered Snow Blower?

Visit Kubota's web site and BUILD MY KUBOTA (L3301) optioned the way you want it. (2,700 pounds, bare tractor.)

Then price out the de Luxe Kubota L3560, which has many options standard. (3,700 pounds, bare tractor)

Depending on how many options you price into the L3301, sometimes an L3560 is not that much more money. Tractor Nirvana.

You should be able to negotiate 8% to 10% off MSRP shown. Kubota incentives to dealers vary. Sometimes, when Kubota incentives land right, 11% to 12% off MSRP is possible.

Check with dealer about Virginia sales tax exemptions on ag equipment. In Florida, ag and forestry equipment is often sales tax exempt.


The only other PTO powered attachment I could foresee using is a post hole digger for a perimeter fence.

You may not realize this, BUT ABOVE IS HILARIOUS!

oh, I get it quite well.

It never ceases to amaze me how I can somehow justify every piece of equipment I see and say "I need that".

In other words, saying you cant forsee 'needing' anything other than a PHD means the tractor GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) has not fully taken hold of you.

When the tractor arrives you will be amazed over how many unforeseen tasks you use the tractor for.

As you use the tractor far more than expected, the hunger for implements is first felt, the GROWS.

I had to buy the adjoining 1/2 acre residential lot to store my tractor implements. There was not enough room on my first 1/2 acre lot for the collection.

Most men just don't have cheap hobbies. I've often said I wish I could be satisfied with paper airplanes but I know I'd end up buying paper for $15 a sheet if it flew 5ft further!

For 5-17 acres in VA, you’re most likely gonna need a bush hog, rear blade, grapple, box blade, and a post hole digger.

I resisted GAS for years, until I looked around one day and realized all the things I hadn't done that I could have with the right implement.

A tractor is a mobile power plant, implements are what transfer that power into work.
