I will double check the PTO rotation when I get it back from the welder (adding more weight on front end) but if I remember right if you are looking at the PTO turn from behind the tractor it turned clockwise which I thought was opposite of standard! So i guess I was mistaken but I will certainly check that out as soon as I get it back first of next week. The tractor has started up every time which is also what the previous owner said of it so I'm guessing this thing is a pretty strong tractor! I will let you know the rotation next week...thanks again for the help...I know I will also pay that forward one day too!
Hi, I just got a 'new to me' Satoh st1510 in Ireland with a front end loader and Bucket- Tiller is buggered though.
I too am at odds in relation to the PTO direction- I can get an adapter from 18 spline to 6 spline as standard but am worried that I cant run a 4 foot mower off the back of her once I have the 3 point linkage kit fitted! I had a B6000 previously and just ran the tiller off it and landleveller and stone rake- well handy strong tractor that never slowed at anything I threw at her!
I am interested to know how you got on with your Satoh if you got sorted re PTO etc!
Fab machines!
Cheers
