Newbie needs some advice

I mowed most of the yard today.
I didn't let it get too high this time.
Still had to mow in first gear cause it was so thick.

Starting to really wish I had some haying equipment sized for the N.

I wouldn't -think- it would work well in that situation... IMHO..
