Newbie needs some basic help - fast

First Post - thaks in advance for any replies/help...

Just bought a small farm and am new to the tractor arena... Have a MF 1433 which blew a hydrualic line. Had it repaired, and the reapir blew... Fixed that and am all set for that, BUT am concerned I lost too much hydraulic fluid (The bucket does raise again... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

I do not have an owner's manual with it. I cannot for the life of me find the Hydraulic Dip stick and fill point... Please help as I am afraid I might damage with too little fluid... again thanks in advance

Not positive about the 1433, but other 1400 series that I've noticed have a sight glass in the rear axle housing that shows fluid level.

The fill point is right next to your third arm and to the left . The sight glass to check the fluid is straight below the fill plug on the housing about 10" or so down. What did you tear up?
