Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Newbie plow tripping

   / Newbie plow tripping #21
I just plow gravel and once the ground freezes, float works OK. If the ground isn't frozen, it makes a mess in float. I got a 1" thick by 10" wide rubber strip and attached it to the blade so as much as possible of the rubber hangs down. I set the loader down to put pressure on the rubber and have it bend backwards about midway so I have a few inches up and down leeway as I plow and not have to use float. Works great on unfrozen gravel.

Anyway, I need a bigger blade for my MX since this one is for my L3901 and will get one that floats off the SSQA plate which should make it better for gravel use.
