This is the best web-site ever. I enjoy reading daily. Being new to tractoring has brought up alot of questions for safety and proper methods. It looks like the next best economical attachement would be the back blade and angle-it for the trenching, but also for versatility of uses. We bought 40 acres 4 years ago for a future homesite, so it is in the beginning stage of clearing, grading and such. My recent projects are grooming trails and a shooting-range; so all the input from the members here is greatly appreciated......Thanks to all

For a quick ditch in somewhat soft soil, I put the tractor in 2WD, drive where I want the shallow ditch & feather the brake on the side that you don't want the ditch.

Alot of people might consider this method tractor abuse, I consider it getting the job done.

Feathering one wheel works even better if you are wearing chains....Just lower the FEL to assist the brake where needed. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
