Yeah, I hear ya Nubota but as long as he's showing an interest, I can't exactly say 'no'.

Based upon my experience with the brush cutter, I don't think that you would have been happy with turf tires. The brush cutter leaves lots of sharp bits lying around.

How come that grapple looks nothing like the one on the PT site...

The one pic on the website of the grapple is one of the first manufactured. They have since changed the design to what is shown in the current pics.

I have turfs on our PT425. They work fine on the mowing. They work fine on the paved driveway when plowing snow. Excellent, for that matter. On grassy side slopes, snow or wet grass, they crab walk down the slope easily. In the woods, they grip the forest floor well. I have never been stuck. In sand, they work very well in that they spin on the sand instead of digging a hole. However, they are only 2 ply and puncture easily with torns such as in brush hogging rose bushes.

Get your self some slime and put it in at double the recommended dosage now, before you get a leak.

Yes. The slime brand name is Slime! It is available at TSC and some auto parts stores, NAPA, tractor shops, etc...

Some folks use a product by Gempler's (SP?) that they like better than slime.
