I'm from San Antonio and have had four different garden tractors. If I had known about this forum I may have only bought two. It's good to find a place where one can pick the minds of other, more experienced owners. I look forward to learning a lot about DIY repair and buying info.

Welcome. Not familiar with Cub Cadet line. Is that a diesel? As far as garden tractors, I've had the same, Craftsman, all-wheel steering, 18hp cutter for 25 years. Doubt the new ones will hold up that well. The mower deck has been the only issue and I've re-built it a couple of times. A welder is a must.

Is a phrase that applies too most of us.

Just having someone to talk to about your tractor that isn't charging you $45 per hour or trying to sell you a new one is a Godsend. A nicer, more informative bunch of people would be hard to find.
