News Flash: New LS Tractor MT2E Series (Picture and Facts)

I got the gear XG3025 with the BH. The dealer only had HST models in his stock, but transferred the gear model from another close by dealer. He had the BH in stock. To me the BH was a necessary attachment. It also has the updated new loader- - the LL3300, not the older 3110.

They really did good for me. Package included the BH, 2 rear remotes, a 575# 60" heavy box blade, and a PHD w/ 9" auger, 66" bucket. They knocked off $3400 from their list price including delivery. I couldn't say no. The sales guy said he has never sold one at such a steep discount. Well, they sell a unit... I get a great price!

Actually sold my whole package (TLB, box blade, RFM, and a trailer). I have some heavy work coming up in the near future, so I figured the timing is right.

Tony, it wasn't clear from what you wrote whether the MT225E has a beefier frame. Do you know?

From what I was told, the late 2018 / 2019 XG3025's have a beefier frame which will be the same frame continued on the MT2-25e. So, I would say 'yes' to your question.

This is correct. LS beefed up the engine frames last year, then released the new LL33XX series of loaders on the XG3025 tractors. The MT225E's are mostly the same except for the electrically activated throttle (something to do with emissions).

I will not be surprised if the XJ goes away. The MT125 almost fits that niche and has been selling 10 to 1 against the XJ (from a reliable source.) We will have to wait and see.

At the dealer meeting they showed a slide with the schedule for updates and new model names. I believe the XJ is planned for an update next year which will include a name change.

Just my opinion but I don't think the XJ platform will go away. There's too many competitive models in that category for LS to not offer something. Although I do agree with you. Most of our customers that need something more than the MT1 end up with the XG3025.

Thanks for the info, my new 2019 (one of the last built XG3025's) is due to be delivered on Tues. My dealer told me about the electronic control on the throttle on the MT2-25e and that was the deciding factor to go with the XG3025. I sure hope mine hasn't been "upgraded"....
