News on Updated Mid-Chassis CUT

Hey All - Just got back from my dealer. Here are some more well placed rumors from the factory;

1. The new mid-chassis will have a Deere engine, not the Yanmar. Can't say if this is better or not... certainly different.

2. "300X" will be the loader series. Does this mean anything to anyone? No specs yet.

3. The biggest news... Deere will be offering full cab versions of both the mid-chassis and the large chassis with full HVAC and stereo.

He mentioned the new model numbers, and the HP ranges... but I just can't recall the details on those. I do recall him saying that he believed they would go up to 39hp in the mid-chassis. That's all for now. Sounds good huh? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sounds interesting - and it makes it harder and harder not to upgrade off my 4600 with 230 hours...

Thanks for the update! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif That is very interesting news! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Now I wonder if they will put Deere engines in the small-chassis ones, too? It sounds like if the FEL will be a 300X, the model line will be the 3000 Twenty Series. Do you or anyone else know when the 3000 Twenties are slated for release? Where is Deere scrounging up the engines for the mid-chassis? I had heard they used the Deere engines from the skidsteers in the 4000 Twenties.

I know what you mean about the pain of the trade-up. I toy with the idea, but if I got caught up in every new thing to come along I'd be broke... just like I was in the 80's after I'd bought about 5 new cars over a 4 year period... ohhh yeah - that depreciation will kill ya! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I always remind myself... whether I'm talking about my truck or the tractor... bottom line is I've got a machine that does everything I need it to do.

I don't have much info - I was told several months back that the 3x20 series would be out possibly in the fall, or early next year. I'm sure when this gets a little closer to release we'll get a lot more info - but for now it's fun to get the bits of info that leak out from Deere.
