Depending on what kind of hydraulic fluid you have, you might benefit by switching to a synthetic.

OK everyone is convinced about block heaters, now we need to start getting transmission heaters.
In the meantime I don't know about on the compacts and smaller but do you have an oil cooler up in front of the radiator?
If so you can idle it for days and if it is circulating oil thru a cooler it will be hard to warm that hydraulic oil up, cover up the
radiator opening to let it build some heat, it is just as hard on engines and hydraulics to run these systems cold as it is to hot.
Heck, I have the winter cover on the front of my pickup and it has a hard time warming up with just 4 small cut outs to let air in
and it's an electric fan so it's not pulling air in like the belt driven fan on a tractor, cover them up and watch your temps.
