NH 1925 cowling threaded inserts

Hi folks. I have a 1925 and the threaded inserts that hold the under-dash cowling on are either gone or spinning. The bolts in the middle can probably be drilled through and a nut put on the back. But the ones that hold the cowling to the firewall I have to fix differently. Anyone had luck plastic welding, or do you just glue them back in with some industrial glue or epoxy?

Drill them out and install a new nutsert. Google nutsert kit there are some inexpensive ones out there!

Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for the tip on the nutsert. I think 1/4 is a lot smaller than what's in there. I think you're right on the fix though. Thanks again.
