New Holland Boomer 1025
Hi, new on forum, I have a NH Boomer 1025 I bought a couple of months ago with a fuel starvation issue I think. My property has some quite steep areas and sometimes on those the engine will die and will not restart. Tank had plenty in it but possibly angle had stopped flow to filter, looked at fuel filter then and seemed low on fuel, I have had to roll if I can to flat ground but still will not start and have had to bleed the injectors then all is fine. Has anyone got a possible solution to this issue? I am also looking for a service manual and wiring diagram but manuals seem pretty expensive online, any help much appreciated.
Thanks

You could have a blockage in the fuel tank caused by algae or other debris. You could start by breaking a fuel line after the tank but before anything else. The idea is to establish a free flow of fuel from the tank on. If you have good flow at the first point move along until you no longer have good flow.

Thanks, a good flow from tank before filter but filter looked dirty and I assume blocked so replaced it. More fuel sitting in the filter after that so one step nearer I think. Added some algae additive before changing filter and ran for a while then swapped to new one. Seems to be running well on the hills but after a good hour of use I turned her off to get something and didn稚 want to start 2 minutes later when still hot. Did an injector bleed to get it going again. Any ideas anyone? Running well other than this hot start problem now.
Thanks

is it only on starting while it is hot? if you were able to get it going with an injector bleed, somewhere she is able to get air in the fuel assembly.

Thanks, yes it is only really after it has been running for a while. Used it for a good hour痴 worth of continuous mowing and then switched off and didn稚 want to restart. If it was getting air in somewhere would it not affect the running? or still be okay for that hour of continuous mowing without being affected. Is there anywhere in particular anyone thinks air might get into the system?
Thanks
