NH/Case

I recently read a comment about a NH/Case merger being completed. I'm just wondering if anybody has heard any specifics or upcoming changes at NH dealers. My main interest is whether I'm still going to get the same good support for my out-of-production Ford 1710.

NYSE does show a little movement for CHN,also there several articles which seem interesting..you might be on to something.

I did some research on this a while back and thought I had a post about it but could not find it. Last Aug or Sept when I checked into it. The info I got was that the Case/NH deal was done and wrapped up. I think it will be transparent to the average guy looking at tractors. Dealers remain separate , ETC. I would not worry about your Ford dealer or access to parts on the 1710 for years to come. I do believe Ford is going to drop the 1,000 series all the way through 2120. Being replaced by Boomers & sumpin else??

JimBinMI I believe said something in the lines of NH being taking over by CHN early last spring.
Haven't yet read the facts on NYSE...guess I'm slipping. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
