Sounds like a case of JIT (Just In Time) parts management that is in need of better management. Companies are so concerned about the cost of inventory, it's becoming an issue with using LCRs (low cost regions) due to shipping time from overseas. 3 weeks of shipping from Asia is considered parts sitting in inventory. Maybe just build more stuff in the U.S.? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yea, everyone is getting hit with steal. It does not seem to be a supply problem, just cost. Its being delt with my passing the cost down to the customer. Pretty well everyone has done it by Kubota. As far as inventory levels go NH is low, pretty well everyone else I deal with is high on on target.

I hear the auto industry is not being hit as hard because of their size and bargining power. They have been able to refuse the price increase by offering contracts to other suppliers and making the middleman take the hit. The smaller AG industry has not been able to pull that off.
