NH TC 40 vs Kubota L 4300DT- best negotiating ideas?

Dear tractor netters:

I've been following the threads on negotiating (very maddening as I am trying to buy a machine).
This is where I am-- price being comprable; which do you think is a better deal:

NH TC40 w/ Bush Hog M246 FEL & bush hog 6' rottary cutter

vs

Kubota L 4300DT w/ Kubota LB552 FEL & woods 6' rotary cutter?

I gotta buy something this month... I like the fancy 3PH & shuttle shift w/ the TC 40; I like the larger HP w/ the Kubota.

Meanwhile, both dealers are very decent people-- but I can aford only one tractor. Since they both seem to want my business and may go further to sweeten their deals, what else do I ask for? Welded Eye bolts on the bucket of the FEL? bumper/grille guard? Anything else? (what me worry?).

appreciate any feedback... especially related to the FEL comparison... both of these are basic/economy, but that's better than not having one, I guess.

… shuttle shift w/ the TC 40…

The NH 12/12 shuttle transmission is ideal for loader work… just what the doctor ordered… can’t same the same for the sliding gear 8/2 Kubota unit… very basic, very dated… very simple, but also very reliable… (also the worst and most time consuming for loader work)

I don’t have the exact hydraulic hp of the Kubota, but generally as a rule, they are lower than the rest, especially the leader 00’s units, which are “basic units” to be sold strictly on price…

Ask the NH dealer what the difference is to step up to the TC45 and you will solve your PTO hp issue… that the Kubota L4300 has ~ 1 ½ hp gain… over the TC40…

All in all, I think the NH has most of the advantages over the Kubota with that one exception…

john gave you good info(we expect that from JM3) only thing i can add is a guy i work with bought a TC45 with BH and i got a few min. to play with it, very very nice machine! Ii would imagine the TC 40 is the same jsut a little less hp.

the NH dealer has made a heck of an offer-- I always thought I was going to be buying a Kubota, but now it appears it may well be a TC 40 w/ 16LA FEL & bushog brand bushog.
very interesting turn of events.
Out of courtesy to the Kubota dealer will await his reply/ counter offer.

On the 40D the 16LA loader controls are on the integrated joystick along with the rabbit/turtle two range electronic selector button. What does NH do with the joystick on the non-D models? That control, (other than a problem with the arm breaking) is one of the nicest features reported by the Class III Boomer users. Is the D model out of the question?
