hoping someone can give me some guidance.
tractor will not start seems to be grounding out or starter issues. The lights work and glow plug but as soon as I turn to start it clicks and goes dead. Have to remove the cables from the battery and it will reset itself. Have checked the fuses and they look ok. Checked the battery and its measuring over 12 volts. starter or solenoid ? where is the solenoid located ? I am a newbie when it comes to working on tractors. thanks for the help

Have you checked the battery under load? You can have 12v but as soon as you try to turn the starter, the voltage will drop out.
