Hello I was wondering if anyone has installed a hydraulic lift into a square baler. I have a NH 316 hayliner I would like to put a lift into it if possible. I thought maybe someone had done it or had one done that I could see some pics of. Also of anyone has any maintenance or operating tips it would be appreciated as its only my second year with a square baler and I didn't make many last year.

keep a good stock of springs I have the same baler and it went down 4 hours before a storm and I lost a lot of hay over a 2 dollar spring and like anything else keep it well greased and the knotters dry

I briefly had a 316 on the place, just to sell for a friend. I'm curious though, where are you talking about lifting? The pickup header? bjr

I was wanting to put a hyd lift on the pickup. I bale alot of ditch grass and would like the ability to lift the pickup whenever. It seems like there is space in pickup height adjustment compartment. I was wondering if anyone had done it
