Yep, as it says in the article...you just don't see them that big that often...guess not if it breaks record held for 34 years by 15 lbs :rotfl:

Wow, I've never even heard of a bass that large. I couldn't have kept it, would have felt bad. I would have live released it. To each his own though.

That is ONE NICE FISH! I have fished for striped bass for a long time and 54 pounds is the best I have ever done. The state record here is in the 65 pound range, don't know for sure.

I heard they use fish that size for Bait in Texas...that is just what I heard.....:confused3:
