If you look at the age of the guy holding it and the weight of the fish it looks like a fake to me. The guy isn't even straining.

That's a helluva rockfish!

I've seen nearly that big in Percy Priest Lake just a tad east from Nashville. I've seen them snatch them below the dam when they're generating.

If you look at the age of the guy holding it and the weight of the fish it looks like a fake to me. The guy isn't even straining.

There is a pretty good size line/rope comming out of the mouth of it. He's just keeping it faced towards the camera. Look again.

Big fish. It looks like it has about 5 lbs of roe in it?

I know it's a record. But I couldn't keep it with all that roe in it.
