Nice little 3020 I picked up

I was at the dealer yesterday getting some parts and noticed a clean older 3020 there. I got to talking with the salesman who has become a pretty good friend. They just got it in on trade and he said if I really wanted it he could shoot me a heck of a deal if I wanted to take it before they sent it through the shop. We made a deal on it and it has a new home. It will make a nice little chore tractor and for mowing pastures, harrowing, etc.

Synchro on the dash. It's a 66 model.

Yes nice buy there. Isn't the 4020 considered the tractor with the highest resale value of any tractor? Don't know for sure but I bet there's a lot of work left in that 3020 which won't be much smaller. First away from home job, as in real pay, was on a farm with a 4000 that had the console shift. Loved that tractor and spent a lot of time on it spraying, plowing,baling etc. handled anything attached to it perfectly. I'am sure you'll be happy.

The 4020's and 3020's are pretty close in resale value Ron. You never lose anything on them. The 3020's are popular because they are a little smaller tractor and are easier to get around with. I have a 4020 that I've been offered a couple thousand more than I paid for numerous times. It's tough to find a better older tractor than the 4020 or 3020.

Nice machine ! Saw a nice 3020 and 4020 at a recent tractor show/pull - not for sale though. Congrats on your find Doc !
