Nice Winch need mounting plate to fit RTV900

if you don't plan on useing it for recovery of the urv then i think it's a great winch for the price.as for a bracket i made mine it's a trailer hitch reciever mount one that i can put in the front or the rear nuthin fancy but thats the way i would go that way you won't have to always be facing youe pull to have to hook onto it and pull it . cut a tree down behind you all you need to do is move the winch to the back and plug it in with the quik connects . as soon as we get our pipe bender we gonna make a front fender for the hpx/xuv .but getting back to your winch if your just gonna use it for pulling limbs it should do fine i just wouldn't put the life of the machine on the line of it or your life but for what you say your gonna use it for it should be ok.infact i might think about ordering one to mount to my rops rack so i can load stuff in my bed easier. it should handle a 1000k load pretty good.

Simple fix for mounting

I had a 10" X 15" X 1/4" plate cut and punched four holes to match Grill Guard and seven holes to match the Harbor Freight Mount, it fits great and will look nice as soon as I get it primed and painted. Threaded Grill Guard Holes are 12 mm X 1.25 Threads, used Grade 8 bolts. The only other out of pocket mount sold cost $89.00. I will post pictures as soon as it is painted and mounted. $89.99 for winch and $9.99 for mount from Harbor Freight

how is that thing bolted up to the bumper??? is it in the reciever hitch???

There are four threaded 12 mm bolt holes in the Grill Guard that the plate is bolted into. Tried to attach photo but it did not attache (doing something wrong)

yea i noticed that on the other website you posted a extra pictutre.lol i would put two bolts where you have your wrenchs sitting at to keep that plate from flexing up and down . it just seems that them bolts along the front will not keep that back from lifting up if you pull down on the front of the winch with a load. other than that it looks great man.

you will have a sea-saw affect if you know what i mean
