Hi Ron... you got me thinking (and sweating a bit too) trying to be legal so I went and reread my permit. Says you can't start a fire before sunrise and you can't 'add material after sunset'. I haven't been adding but I admit I have pushed the pile together. I'm on my third day and haven't had to relight it... just stir up the coals and then add a few more. This should be the last night of active burning. I do have a four huge stumps that are too big to get to the pile so they will sit in my newly created stump garden.Mark,
Here in South Kitsap County we are not allowed to burn at night. I cheat sometimes when the flames have died and no wind forecast. I have 3 piles started for 10' Diameter burns. I always wait for rain, my woods are too close.
Ron

DT! That's what I'm talking about! Low light photography. Not easy. Here are a few from early 2014 when I had 65 heifers calving. Happened to look down at just the right time to catch the tractor rolling 1600 hours while mowing hay. <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=473228"/>
