Great pictures. Looks like a place where a fella could spend a lot of time out with his best friend. That sure would be nice to have behind the house - puts my old pond to shame.
Got me a chocolate lab as well. He, Weaver, will be 8 next month. I don’t think he’s slowed down that much - yet. Put on a little weight (like his owner), but, he and I both are working on that. He loves the water – disrupts my fishing at times, but, it’s hard to get mad at him when you see how much he enjoys it.
Wish I could get Weaver to jump/leap in the water like yours is doing in the picture. He runs/wades into the water, won’t jump from a bank, pier, dock, etc. Although, last summer he was in one of his happy-spastic-turbo modes, just running around at full throttle, like a maniac acting silly. He ran out on the bank of the pond dam and was going too fast to cut the corner and literally launched into the deep end of the pond – about 5ft down and about 10ft out in the water – you could see the surprise in his face as he flew through the air - one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life. Made a huge splash and went totally underwater – I thought he was going to be the only lab in history to drown - came to the surface, swam back and just kept running.
Please keep sharing the pictures.
