I like the idea for commercial use but still no diesel option.

9500lb max towing and 3925lb max payload sounds good for a van. Same old 317 hp at 5200 rpm V8 from the Titan though, maybe it will work better in a light van than it does in the Titan trucks.

I'm sure DP will chime in how it's the greatest most capable towing engine ever made but funny how no one else agrees...

They're getting bigger in our area. One of another businesses in our somewhat "industrial park" has one, he likes it. They came around to our office with a demo and gave us a few thumb drives full of specs and info, if I can find one, I'll put it up on here.

Everyone we know doesn't seem to have complaint about them, haven't ridden in any myself.

Also, we have had 3 Sprinters. Great trucks. We do HVAC, and the trucks are always loaded with equipment, stock, and tools. My dad has 130k on his 04. There's some goofy little issues, but nothin major in that or my grandfathers 07 with 65k. We had one that was very problematic, but no one else had any problems like it, so it was really a lemon.

Interesting that Nissan comes out with this Ford E series look a like (RWD, body on frame, V-8 power) and Ford, the market segment leader announces this week the Econoline is history to be replaced by the big Euro Transit-not to be confused with the little Transit Connect. Many people think this is an attempt to salvage something out of the Titan which is a sales flop as there is some commonality of components.

I agree with DP......(who ever that is)
My wifes 04 Titan has right at 100,000 miles...it's been a great truck! Very dependable and tons of power.

My ex FIL told me to never argue with a idiot, they will beat you up and down with their years of experience.

These vans are getting very popular here. Good power, tow ratings, and price point. Big hvac company has about a dozen, police have a few, Enterprise Rentals, ect.

Only 1/2 ton that holds a candle to the Titan is the F150 3.5 Eco Boost and the 5.7 Tundra. Dodge and GM are so far behind they think they are leading. LOL

I think a 4 wheel drive version would also sell, didn't see one on the specification link.

GM has an AWD option on their 1/2 ton vans.
